Questions au Chapitre Italien pour preparer telco

We had a kick-off meeting with the people who volunteered to participate to the "Project Management in Primary school" program and a phone call with Vincent Iacolare, now we would like to initiate a discussion with you in order to get more information and to try to answer some questions:

- What are your targets in terms of deployment
- Learn more about your Methodological Kit
- What are you expecting from us and how can we collaborate efficiently
- What are the next steps (Secondary schools?)
- Any other topics

We would like to propose 2 dates for this telco but feel free to make other proposals if time is not convenient for you:
Friday April 10th (during lunch time) or
Tuesday April 14th (18:00-19:00)

je viens de retrouver une note interessante dans le dernier echange de mail entre W.Ginevri & V.Iacolare mi Janvier. Je ne sais plus si vous en avez pris connaissance. food-for-thought:

Vincent: We have identified 2 primary schools teachers. As the pedagogical projects are closed for 2008/2009, this initiative could be planed for 2009/2010. Can we organize a telco between French & Italian teachers in orther to define the action plan and give more technical explanation to the French teachers?

Walter: We strongly agree with the proposal of a telco between the primary school teachers. Our Italian teacher speaks French and this is a good opportunity for making the meeting more effective. I am not an expert and I hope we can use Skype to arrange the telco. Please, let's know your proposal in terms of possible dates, hours and technology. I inform you that, thanks to the support of the PMI Educational Foundation, the English and Spanish translation of our methodological kit is actually in progress. It could be fine if our collaboration could generate the French translation of the kit itself

About your Methodological Kit
-A document, like a small PMBOK (50 pages) adapted for primary schools
-Result of experiments made during 2 years of implementation
-Walter can send it to us (Italian), it is currently being xlated in english

Suite de la telco par Anne-Marie:

The Methodological kit is also translated into Spanish, the English version will be available in 3/4 months.
We will try to provide an estimate for translation into French.

The experiments were done for children from 2nd to 5th grade (7 to 11 years old).
For 2nd grade experiment, the teacher is the PM and the pupils are the members.
For 5th grade experiment, pupils act as PMs and the teacher as Facilitator.

All experiments are assigned to the teacher ONLY, there is no interaction in the classroom.

Efforts:
- Find and involve 2 or 3 teachers
- Plan a meeting for presenting the kit and the way of conducting the project with practical examples.

On me dit que le Chapitre Italien a fait une présentation à Amsterdam de leur projet en direction des écoles, et a mentionné qu'ils étaient en contact avec nous pour deploiement. Ceci se déroulait dans le cadre d'une session sur la Fondation PMI.
